Music

Ready to "hear the music?" This page contains some information about the song(s) recorded by Patrick C. Currier and some links to places where you can listen to them.

A fair note of caution: Bright-Fire on Ice-Cold Waters and the original Tidal Wave recording were "home-recorded" and may not be of the best quality. They were recorded using my cell phone and some basic software for adjustments.

Singles

Here are some of my singles!

Tidal Wave

The first single that was recorded. This was published through RouteNote. It was first posted online in May 2020. This song is one of reassurance, hope, and understanding.

Will it be the Last Time?

"Will it be the Last Time?" is a heartfelt, honest acoustic punk rock/blues rock song about a toxic friend relationship with someone who kept getting into bad situations that I felt for and at one point opened my heart to, only to have my heart ripped out of my chest and repeatedly put on the backburner (metaphorically). It may have been the last time I opened my heart to her, but it was the first time I opened my heart to the world around me. I designed the art for it with an eye for graffiti art like Green Day or similar bands, with my own spin on it. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I Don't Want to be Here Again

"I Don't Want to be Here Again" is an acoustic, heart-stinging song about a breakup from a relationship that results in the loss of oneself into addiction and nostalgia. The refrain strikes back at this affliction, crying out against it, to break away from it, with the bridge showing the singer is crying for help as they swim against the waves to get through it.

Albums

Here is my latest album!

Bright Fire on Ice-Cold Waters

My first album! Bright Fire on Ice-Cold Waters was published in October 2021. This album has a mix of songs, primarily focused on Alternative music. It is home-recorded and homemade. Other genres some of the songs individually mix with include Country, Christian, Pop, and Alternative Rock. You will likely be able to identify which songs fit with which of these other genres. It is classified as "Alternative" for the album because of this mix. Enjoy!
