Everyone has a Story.
It's up to us to Determine if and how we Wish to Tell it.
Wood-Burnings
This page contains images of various wood-burning creations created by Patrick C. Currier. Feel free to let me know what you think!
A Woody Shield
As a fan of medieval and classical history, and medieval weaponry, I wanted to have a shield of my own for many years. Since it was so expensive to purchase one, I decided to design my own.
I also installed a handle on the back of it and a belt so I could strap my arm into it so it could be wielded for cosplay or to simply show off as a creative accessory.
TNK: EM Cover Design
This is one of my best designs. I wanted to design a cover that looked unique but also fitting for a book cover, so I thought, why not have Eclipse the wolf as the cover image. As I continued thinking through the design and referenced some other wolf designs that showed some of a wolf's fur in them, I had a brilliant idea. "Why not turn the fur shown in the image into the image of Emerald Mountain described in the book?" This is exactly what I did.
Teutonburg Fortress
I wondered how I would craft Teutonburg Fortress in words so that I could illustrate it as the image I had in my head. It dawned on me that one of the ways I could do this was to actually design it so that I could visually see it as a reference in front of me. This is the image of Teutonburg Fortress I used to describe it in Emerald Mountain.
Flowers
Since I like nature, and flowers are beautiful, I decided to burn some flower designs. They are a bit simpler than some of my other designs, but they still serve their purpose. Take a look!
